Job Summary
The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing and events team in promoting the company's cardiology medical device portfolio. The role involves assisting with marketing campaigns, medical congresses, product launches, and travel/event coordination for senior managers and clinicians.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Support:
- Assist in the implementation of marketing activities for cardiology medical devices.
- Support the development of product brochures, presentations, digital content, and scientific communication material.
- Update and maintain digital platforms, including website content and social media channels.
- Conduct competitor and market research within the cardiology medical devices sector.
- Assist in preparing product performance and campaign reports for management.
Event & Travel Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of medical congresses, workshops, product launches, and hospital events.
- Assist with logistics: venue booking, catering, booth branding, and delegate coordination.
- Provide travel coordination support for Senior Managers and healthcare professionals (flights, accommodation, itineraries).
- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and event service providers.
Communication & Administration:
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and scientific communication materials.
- Assist in preparing internal reports, presentations, and regulatory-compliant marketing material.
- Maintain databases of key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and event participants.
- Handle day-to-day administrative duties within the marketing team.
Qualifications, Experience, and competencies:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field (healthcare/medical device background advantageous).
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, event coordination in the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn about medical technology.
