We are looking for a results driven Direct Sales Manager to lead our direct sales division, build a high performing sales team and drive sustainable business growth.
Role Overview
As the Direct Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company's direct sales strategy, managing the performance of the sales team, and ensuring revenue and growth targets are consistently achieved. You will lead from the front by coaching, motivating and supporting your team while identifying new market opportunities and improving sales performance.
This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader who thrives in a target driven environment and has a proven ability to build successful sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, manage and motivate the direct sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Recruit, onboard and develop high performing sales representatives
• Conduct regular coaching, training and performance reviews
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share
• Monitor sales performance and ensure KPI achievement across the team
• Manage the sales pipeline and forecasting process using our CRM system
• Accompany sales representatives on client visits and provide field coaching
• Build relationships with key clients and assist in closing strategic opportunities
• Analyse sales trends, market activity and competitor performance
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for senior management
• Work closely with Operations and Customer Care to improve the customer journey
• Ensure accurate sales administration, quotations and contract management
• Drive customer retention and identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service throughout the sales process
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales management role
• Proven track record of leading successful direct sales teams
• Experience in vehicle tracking, fleet management, telematics, automotive, insurance or technology sales will be highly advantageous
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication abilities
• Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems,
• Strong commercial and business development mindset
• Ability to analyse sales data and make strategic decisions
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel for client meetings and team support
