Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is an established medical distribution company with over 30 years of experience in the ENT market. The business has a strong client base and is expanding into additional specialties, including Pulmonology and Cardiothoracic.
They are seeking a driven, self-sufficient Medical Sales Representative to promote their medical product portfolio, build strong relationships with surgeons and hospital personnel, and identify new business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sell and promote the company's medical product portfolio.
Detail products to surgeons, specialists and hospital personnel.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key clients.
Assist during theatre cases and support procedures when required.
Achieve sales targets and identify opportunities to grow the business.
Maintain strong product knowledge and provide professional customer support.
Complete sales reports and attend relevant meetings and training.
Manage the assigned territory independently and proactively develop new business opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Tertiary education is mandatory. A BA or BSc degree, ideally in a science- or business-related field, is preferred.
Proven medical sales or healthcare sales experience is essential, with approximately 5–7 years of relevant experience preferred.
Previous ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) and Neuro product sales experience is a significant advantage.
Medical device and disposable product sales experience is beneficial.
Experience working in a theatre environment is required, with experience scrubbing in and assisting during procedures advantageous.
Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
Strong sales, communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently, manage a territory and take accountability for results.
Trustworthy, professional, self-motivated and comfortable working without close supervision.
Willingness to travel to client sites and other provinces.
Fluency in English and Afrikaans is advantageous; additional languages would be beneficial.
Experience with product detailing, medical education and identifying new business opportunities is beneficial.
