Job Summary
Are you a results-driven sales professional with deep roots in the food and hospitality sector? A major player in the South African poultry and agricultural industry is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join their team. This role is ideal for a high-energy individual who thrives on building long-term client relationships and navigating the fast-paced nature of the manufacturing and distribution landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management: Maintain and expand a robust client base within the catering, restaurant, and hotel industries.
New Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities to increase market share and volume.
Client Engagement: Conduct regular site visits, providing exceptional service and product expertise.
Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales and revenue objectives.
Operational Reporting: Utilize internal systems to manage orders, track stock, and report on market trends.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience specifically within the catering, poultry, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industries.
Language Proficiency: Must be able to read and speak Afrikaans fluently to effectively communicate with the established client base.
Technical Skills: Previous experience with Syspro is highly beneficial.
Mobility: Must be willing to travel long distances and stay overnight as required. A valid driver’s license is essential.
Location: Applicants must reside in Klerksdorp or within a 50 km radius of the area.
