Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Generate new business opportunities and grow existing client accounts.
✔ Promote and sell fire protection products and services, including fire extinguishers, fire detection systems, sprinkler systems, suppression systems, signage, and maintenance services.
✔ Conduct client site visits and perform basic fire risk assessments to recommend suitable solutions.
✔ Prepare accurate quotations in accordance with SANS 1475 and SABS standards.
✔ Build and maintain relationships with contractors, facility managers, safety officers, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders.
✔ Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain accurate sales reports and KPIs.
✔ Work closely with technicians and service teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.
✔ Keep up to date with fire safety legislation, standards, and industry developments.
Minimum Requirements:
✔ Grade 12 (Matric).
✔ Proven sales experience, preferably in the fire protection, technical, industrial, engineering, or safety industry.
✔ Experience within the fire protection industry will be a distinct advantage.
✔ Good understanding of SANS 1475 and related fire safety standards is advantageous.
✔ A strong technical background (mechanical, electrical, engineering, or similar) will also be considered.
✔ Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
✔ Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
✔ Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
