Job Summary
Our client is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Bloemfontein. Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- Minimum of 3 years' sales experience
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Computer literate
- Professional and presentable
- Willing to work retail hours, including Sundays (rotation basis)
- Craftsmanship or hands-on ability
Duties and responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their individual needs and providing personalised, professional solutions
- Actively identify and generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, client referrals, and follow-ups
- Present and demonstrate products professionally, showcasing features, benefits, and value while tailoring the approach to each client’s preferences
- Provide accurate and transparent product information, pricing, and terms, ensuring clients are fully informed and confident in their purchase decisions
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive engagement and effective closing techniques
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial client enquiry to closing the sale, including preparing detailed quotations, proposals, and contracts
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups within the CRM system
- Manage client queries, complaints, and after-sales service efficiently, maintaining a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction
- Stay informed on product knowledge, industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to provide expert advice and guidance to clients
- Collaborate closely with the marketing and operations teams to support promotions, campaigns, and special events
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, presenting a professional image and promoting the brand effectively
- Provide timely and insightful feedback to management on client preferences, market trends, and potential business opportunities to support strategic planning
Employment Type:
3 month contract (will be reviewed after the 3 months)
Remuneration:
R9 000 basic per month
