Junior Sales Person – Metal Fabrication Services Location: Johannesburg, South Africa Department: Sales Reports to: Sales Manager Industry: Metal Fabrication / Engineering / Manufacturing Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary +/- R15 to R25k 1.Role Purpose The Junior Sales Person will be responsible for supporting the sales function by identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, maintaining customer relationships, and promoting the company’s metal fabrication capabilities. The role requires a motivated, energetic individual who can learn quickly, understands basic technical concepts, and can confidently engage with clients in the engineering, construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. This role is ideal for a young professional with strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and interest in engineering or fabrication. 2.Key Responsibilities Business Development & Lead Generation • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries (manufacturing, construction, mining, industrial engineering, fabrication). • Conduct cold calling, emailing, social media outreach, and site visits to generate leads. • Visit client sites to understand fabrication needs and identify opportunities for quoting. • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and opportunities. Client Engagement & Relationship Management • Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers. • Provide professional customer service.Error!
