Job Summary
Our Client in the Financial Services Industry is seeking to employ a Commercial Underwriter (Property Portfolio) to their team based in Port Elizabeth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year industry-related experience.
- All relevant RE examinations and required qualifications must be completed.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
- Fully computer literate.
- Experience with CIMS and SKYE systems is advantageous, but training will be provided.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Provide administrative and operational support within a financial services environment.
- Process and maintain accurate client, policy, and compliance records.
- Assist with servicing existing clients and supporting new business processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements.
- Capture and update information accurately on internal systems.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
- Handle queries efficiently and professionally.
- Manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a pressurised environment.
- Support the team to ensure service level standards are met.
