Job Summary
Minimum Requirements:- Matric / Grade 12
- Valid driver’s licence
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate
- Strong numerical and calculation skills
- Able to take accurate measurements
- Willing to travel locally to clients and mine sites when required
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Taking accurate measurements on-site where required
- Preparing accurate quotations for clients
- Calculating quantities, materials and costs
- Ensuring quotes are completed and sent to clients as soon as possible
- Following up on outstanding information required for quotations
- Liaising with clients in a professional manner
- Assisting with general administration related to quotes, orders and client requests
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Exposure to Quantity Surveying, estimating, costing, upholstery, construction, interior installations, blinds, curtains, flooring, furniture, or similar industries
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Strong with numbers and calculations
- Administratively organised
- Able to work independently
- Deadline-driven and proactive
- Professional when dealing with clients
