Job Summary
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data capturing, and maintaining accurate records.Handle customer enquiries via telephone, email, social media, and in person in a professional and friendly manner.
Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation.
Assist with basic accounting duties, including processing payments, reconciling transactions, and maintaining financial records.
Provide administrative support to the sales team and assist with retail sales when required.
Maintain stock records and assist with inventory control and stock-related administration.
Assist with social media marketing, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to enquiries, and promoting products and services.
Ensure accurate processing of customer orders and follow up on outstanding enquiries.
Maintain organised filing systems and ensure all administrative tasks are completed timeously.
Support the day-to-day operations of the business and assist with additional duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
1–2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong administrative, organisational, and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good customer service and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in social media marketing and online customer engagement.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
A genuine interest in watercraft, watersports, and related products.
Advantageous
Previous experience in retail sales or a customer-facing sales environment.
Experience in a retail, marine, boating, or watersports business.
Familiarity with invoicing systems, stock control, and point-of-sale systems.
