? OUT CLIENT IS HIRING | JUNIOR COST ACCOUNTANTReady to build your career in manufacturing finance?
A large, established manufacturing business is looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Cost Accountant to join its finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their expertise in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, financial modelling and business performance analysis.
You will play an important role in supporting costing processes, analysing production costs, maintaining accurate costing models and providing insights that support sound business decisions.
? Minimum Qualifications
Grade 12.
Completed accounting qualification.
Good progress towards CIMA.
Completed articles would be a distinct advantage.
? Experience
Commercial experience in an accounting or finance role is essential.
Experience in public practice (audit or accounting firm) would be advantageous.
Manufacturing industry experience is beneficial.
Exposure to stock counts, inventory management or costing is advantageous.
Experience with Syspro or another ERP system would be beneficial.
?️ Key Skills & Technical Exposure
We are looking for someone with an interest in developing their skills across:
Standard Costing: Cost roll-ups, Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing checks.
Variance Analysis: Material, labour, overhead and throughput variances.
Cost Recovery: Labour and overhead recovery, including time and attendance and overtime analysis.
Inventory Control: Cycle counts, stock counts and inventory variances.
ERP Systems: Syspro financial and inventory modules, including master data management such as stock codes and BOMs.
Excel & Financial Modelling: Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and Power Query.
Manufacturing Data: Shop-floor scanning, Work in Progress (WIP) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) reporting.
