Job Summary
A growing agency in the North is looking for a Senior Account Executive to work with their flagship client's business. You will need to have at least 2-3 years agency experience, working in an integrated role, preferably with some FMCG / OTC / alcohol brands experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior AM:
- Managing all aspects of selected accounts / brands awarded.
- Building and maintaining relationships with Clients (Brand team and Trade Marketing).
- Generating work and turnover from the relationships built.
- Taking briefs and converting them into workable internal agency briefs.
- Overseeing, reviewing and presenting costings and managing the distribution of invoices and collection of payments.
- Assisting in the management of the complete process (on time and in budget), from brief to delivery of finished materials, of all campaign elements (includes liaising with suppliers, studio and all relevant stakeholders; managing Clients through campaigns and delivering post-campaign analyses).
- Proposing proactive work to Clients to supplement turnover.
- In addition to the traditional role of an Account Executive, will be required to:
- Participate in Company activities – brainstorms, meetings, functions, events, and so forth.
- Actively participate in and contribute to key Client activities – brand audits and competitor reviews; their brand strategy process; their brand plan process.
- Source and secure new business (if and when the workload allows).
CTC: in the region of R22k
Experience: 2-3 years Agency experience, preferably with some FMCG / OTC / Alcohol brands, preferably integrated (bearing in mind we do traditional ATL integrated into digital, in-store, and short-term promotional work (more often than not, promotional work ends up being prize promotions).
