Job Summary
Qualification- Matric / Senior Certificate
- Mechanical Engineer qualification would be of benefit.
- Sales Diploma will be of benefit.
- Valid Drivers License
- PC literate – Microsoft office / 365/ One Drive.
- At least 5years industry experience in HVAC.
- Technical understanding of HVAC equipment and application.
- Clear Criminal record and will need to consent to check.
- Valid medical.
- Action external enquiries, introductions, product presentations, proposals, project requirement assessments, recommendations.
- Assess quote requirements for product identification, selection (with selection tool or other relevant apps or programs), costing and offer formulation.
- Assess offer and quotations in relation to client request and client requirements.
- Do quotations and quote negotiation keeping in mind the progress of sale on budget and target requirements.
- Together with management work on a program to achieve budget and targets.
- Receive orders and action sales order process and evaluate progress on budgets and targets.
- Keep up to date on order and shipping process to facilitate feedback to clients and project managers.
- Action proposal follow-ups, quotation follow-ups
- Provide feedback for reporting on quotations and proposals to management on bi-weekly basis.
- Client relationship feedback.
- Support administration and for other quotation facilitation.
- Give feedback on opposition products and client requirements outside of products and services offered by Company to broaden our product and service offerings in line with market needs.
- Collection of tenders, receiving of tenders, assessment of tender requirements, distribution of tender requirements for equipment selection costing and quoting, assessing quotation to tender requirements, formalizing tenders, submitting tenders, and required documentation, tender proposal follow-ups, feedback of tender progress to management in monthly reports. Support to internal sales for tender proposal facilitation.
- Project facilitation, receiving of orders, assisting clients with product information and requirements, attending site meetings. Inspection of product and equipment with delivery, following the installation, commissioning, and finalization processes.
- Support to other staff, technical admin, and management.
