Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses.
- Initiate replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
Replenishment Planning:
- Develop and execute replenishment plans based on demand forecasts, lead times, and other relevant factors.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze sales data, inventory trends, and market conditions to identify improvement areas.
Supplier Collaboration:
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve order or shipment issues.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and communication channels.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, warehouse, and logistics.
- Communicate proactively with suppliers regarding replenishment strategies and performance.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, fill rates, and other KPIs.
- Provide actionable insights to support management decisions.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize processes, and reduce costs.
System Maintenance:
- Maintain and update inventory management systems with accurate data and replenishment schedules.
Problem Solving:
- Address stock-outs, overstocks, and supply chain disruptions efficiently.
Skills & Qualifications
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to resolve issues related to inventory and supply chain operations.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Technical Skills:
- SAP experience is essential.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Supply Chain:
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management practices, and forecasting methodologies.
- FMCG industry experience is essential.
