Sales Administrator (KZN)
Introduction
An exclusive home goods company is seeking to employ an energetic and dynamic
Sales Administrator with 3 to 5 years’ experience within a sales administrator and office support role.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for all the administrative functions in the office and all the sales support to the Regional Sales Manager and Consultants.
Requirements
Minimum education (essential):
- National senior certificate (Matric)
Minimum applicable experience (years):
- 3 to 5 years in a similar role
Required nature of experience:
- Attention to detail
- Planning and organising
- Problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good interpersonal skills
- General office administration and filing
- Support to sales staff
Skills and Knowledge (essential):
- Full Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate Level
Skills and Knowledge (desirable):
Key Performance Areas and Objectives:
General Office Administration
- Answer, address and determine purpose of incoming phone calls
- Deal with queries and provide correct information
- Take and deliver messages accurately and completely
- Greet and direct visitors
- Assist with all administrative duties (drafting of documents; scanning; filing)
- Assist with all communication channels (letters; emails; WhatsApp groups)
- Arrange, prepare, and assist with all office meetings
- Take minutes of meetings
- Ensure that all documentation requirements from Head Office are accurate and complete
- Purchase office consumables and stationery
Consultant and Agent Support
- Capture orders
- Communicate daily with consultants and provide support where needs are identified
- Follow up on, and provide assistance with orders
- Assist with all administrative queries received from consultants
- Collect new consultant/agent documentation and send to Head Office
- Provide sales code to consultants and assist with email setup
- Provide training to consultants on the sales portal
- Issue consultant purchases as well as sales and marketing tools
- Conduct regular stock-take of all sales and marketing tools
- Assist with Mall bookings
- Identify additional channels for sales opportunities
- Provide inputs relating to marketing ideas
Reporting
- Compile monthly target reports for consultants
- Keep monthly record of payments, advances, allowances, deductions of consultants
- Maintain and update head office finance report for consultants
