Job Summary
To qualify for this position, you need:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- 8+ years experience in residential property development.
- Proven experience in large-scale developments (50+ units).
- Strong track record in feasibility modelling and cost planning.
- Experience across full development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Candy (CCS), WinQS, BuildSmart, BIM tools, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks and protect margins.
- Confident in challenging assumptions and making go/no-go recommendations.
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Conduct detailed feasibility studies and financial modelling for new developments.
- Control cost planning, budgeting, and margin protection across the full project lifecycle.
- Perform due diligence and risk analysis on potential developments.
- Independently verify and challenge external QS reports and assumptions.
- Support procurement and contractor pricing strategies.
- Provide strategic input to optimise development performance and scalability.
- Work on high-volume, high-impact developments.
- Play a key role in scaling a fast-growing property investment business.
- Direct exposure to strategic decision-making and leadership.
