Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome customers in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
Assist customers in identifying products that meet their needs.
Provide accurate product information, including features, sizing, pricing, promotions, and care instructions.
Actively promote sales by recommending complementary products and upselling where appropriate.
Achieve individual and store sales targets.
Resolve customer queries and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
Ensure merchandise is displayed according to company visual merchandising standards.
Replenish stock on the sales floor as required.
Maintain a clean, organised, and attractive shopping environment.
Ensure products are correctly priced and ticketed.
Assist with promotional displays and seasonal merchandising changes.
Receive, unpack, and prepare stock for the sales floor.
Conduct regular stock replenishment.
Assist with stock counts and inventory control.
Report damaged or missing stock to management.
Maintain an organised stockroom.
Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system when required.
Handle cash and card payments in accordance with company procedures.
Assist with exchanges and returns following company policy.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, fitting rooms, and stockroom.
Ensure fitting rooms remain tidy and merchandise is returned promptly to the sales floor.
Follow all health, safety, and security procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Support team members during busy trading periods.
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
