Job Summary
The DATA AND INSIGHTS ANALYST will sharpen the company's ability to use data to understand performance, identify trends, and support decision-making across retail, commercial, and operational functions.
Responsibilities:
Positioned within the Finance function and working closely with executive leadership, this role establishes a central business intelligence capability for the organization, translating raw data into actionable insights that drive better business outcomes.
Build data-driven decision-making capability by:
- Improving visibility into business performance and strengthening the reliability and quality of organisational data.
- Bridging the gap between data and decisions, enabling leadership to make informed choices based on evidence rather than intuition.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for decision-makers at all levels: retail, commercial, supply chain, and digital channels
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards and management reports that provide visibility into business performance
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in clear, non-technical language
- Work with IT, Finance, and operational teams to improve data accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with system owners to improve data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes
Key Skills:
- Data analysis and statistical analysis

Qualifications & Experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems etc.)
- Solid experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting, including hands-on work with data visualization tools, SQL, and business reporting.
- Experience working with retail, commercial, or supply chain data is important
- Expereince building dashboards and reports using QlikView or Qlik Sense
The role requires an astute data analyst who is familiar with data from high volume industries, particularly in multi-company environments; and is an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to influence and interact with key executive stakeholders informing strategic direction.
This role is a full time office based role in Germiston.
