Marketing Manager Opportunity

Are you a results-driven marketing leader with a strong passion for brand development and strategic execution? Our client, a respected organisation within the Retail and FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their Durban-based team.

This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives, influence brand direction, and deliver impactful marketing solutions within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and executing integrated marketing strategies aligned with business objectives

• Ensuring brand consistency across all channels and customer touch points

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing marketing team

• Managing marketing campaigns from concept through to execution

• Conducting market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on product launches and promotional initiatives

• Monitoring and optimising marketing budgets, KPIs, and return on investment

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline

• 8–10 years’ experience in brand and consumer marketing

• Sound understanding of the South African Retail and FMCG market

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and performance delivery

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant marketing tools

• Strong strategic capability combined with hands-on execution

• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills

• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
