Property/Facilities Management - Maintenance
About the Position
You will be required to manage a team of handymen and general workers daily, travelling between current and new client’s premises on multiple projects. You will be responsible for health and safety in your area of responsibility, quality, logistics and material management as well as ensuring that projects are completed according to client specifications on time within budget. Where required you will represent the employer at site meetings and conduct site surveys to compile bills of quantities.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will be a driven and committed individual with the ability to complete projects on time and within budget without excuse. Sound practical handyman experience with good communication, administrative and logistical skills is a must. Construction and maintenance industry experience will be to your advantage.
Qualifications / Skills
Matriculation Certificate (Technical High School)
General Handyman Experience (Retail, Commercial and Industrial)
Extensive Dry-walling and Suspended Ceiling Installation Experience
Painting Project Experience
Ability to read and interpret as built drawings.
Driver’s Licence (EB)
