Job Summary
The Junior Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a portfolio of sites, ensuring compliance with SLAs, security, and timely delivery of services to the required standards. The role requires a customer-focused approach and collaboration with senior management to achieve operational excellence while maintaining industry best practices and adhering to relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relations & Communication: Respond to client communications, provide accurate feedback, attend meetings, and ensure progress on projects is communicated. Uphold the company brand and engage in upselling services.
Site Management: Ensure site maintenance aligns with SLAs, conduct site visits, maintain equipment and tools, and enforce health and safety standards. Manage stock, PPE, machinery, and perform audits.
Staff & HR Management: Oversee staff workload, timekeeping, training, and adherence to company policies. Foster a positive working environment and handle HR matters efficiently.
Admin, Policies & Finances: Ensure company vehicles and assets are maintained, manage financial aspects like sales quotes and project budgets, and comply with internal processes and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.
Knowledge in horticulture, building maintenance, and pool maintenance.
At least 2 years’ experience in a service industry managerial role.
Excellent communication skills.
