Job Summary

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  National Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent safety qualification (NQF Level 6)  OH&Sms Systems Auditor Accredited.  A minimum of 5 years’ Chief Safety Officer or equivalent exposure and 5 years management experience.  Registration with the relevant Health and Safety affiliation  Experience performing Internal workshop/site inspections and HSQ management system audits – PLEASE INDICATE CLEARLY ON CV  Computer literate (Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).  Valid drivers’ license ADVANTAGE REQUIREMENTS:  Management Development Programme (MDP) or equivalent qualification.  Experience in the mining industry i.e. underground or opencast.
