The International Marketing Manager / Senior Manager – Sales will be responsible for business development and sales execution in the assigned market. The role involves identifying and pursuing commercial opportunities, managing local stakeholder relationships, and supporting the development of micro-grid and renewable energy projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead local sales and project development activities in Guinea or Côte d'Ivoire
- Build and manage relationships with regulators, IPPs, utilities, and other relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and interpret local energy policies and market dynamics
- Support alignment with internal cross-functional teams
- Represent the company in relevant local engagements and discussions
- Manage the full business development and sales process from lead identification to contract execution
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or project management
- In-depth knowledge of the local energy market, including regulatory frameworks and stakeholder landscape
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex policy and regulatory environments
- Experience managing energy-related projects or commercial deals
- Proficiency in both French and English
- Based in-country or with substantial on-the-ground experience in Guinea or Côte d'Ivoire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors
- Familiarity with micro-grid, distributed energy, or rural electrification projects
- Understanding of project financing structures, including development finance and blended finance mechanisms
