Your Expertise: Minimum 5 years work experience with relevant qualifications in one or more of the following roles: o Product Owner o Project Management o Business Systems Analyst Qualifications: Degree (Honours preferable) in one of the following fields: o Engineering (electrical, computer, aerospace, and mechanical) o Commerce (Informatics) Your Skill Expertise: Understanding the original purpose of existing commercial products, the usage trends highlighting their current relevance, and product/platform delivery to expectations. Understanding which of the existing commercial products can/should be enhanced and compiling a business case to justify the enhancements based on additional revenue, market-related features etc. Design, Implementation and Migration of the new Commercial Platform to which existing and new commercial products will be housed. Design and implement new commercial products on the new commercial platform that enable greater financial inclusion for SMEâ€s. Following the project methodology that has been agreed with the PMO to ensure that all new products are built using business insights and client feedback to meet market expectations Deliverables: Product Description and High-Level Requirements Regular Product Updates Product Vision/Roadmap Management of Product Risks and Issues Product Documentation (Full lifecycle)Stakeholder Engagement Plan Product Maintenance Plan Product Feedback (Internal and External) Performing and Monitoring product Testing Input into Product Brochures Sales and Marketing Training Product related client visits with sales Product Launches Project Management (including plans, deliverables management, backlog, etc. Other Key Responsibilities: Technology Advances:New technology changes in the IT world could mean changes in how we deliver our products and solutions. The Platform Managershould always be looking for ways to make our solutions more beneficial to our customers, extending our presence and increasing our business using new technological advances. Product Evangelist: Propagate knowledge of the product/platform and its benefits to stakeholders and non-stakeholders alike. Competitor Products: Be aware of competing products in the market and understand the differences between our offerings and the competitors. Personality Traits: Communication: The ability to communicate at all levels - communicate effectively with their team, a peer network of stakeholders, senior executives, technical resources as well as clients. Problem-Solving: Assimilate information from a variety of sources, develop a clear understanding of the issues being faced and generate solutions for them. Creativity:Devise creative solutions to issues with products/platforms which stretch the team and deliver true innovation in the market place. Leadership: Responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to achieve the project objectives, ensuring all team members are working together effectively, are communicating with other teams and are producing quality work, in line with the overall product vision Organisation: As a regulated business in many countries, all product information and artefacts must be well managed and available. Using the Product Development Framework, ensure that the product lifecycle is well managed. Adaptive: Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing working environment
