About the Role
A technology-driven organisation operating in the medical and health tech sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager: Tech to lead and deliver strategic projects across hardware, software, and internal technology initiatives.
The role focuses on end-to-end project delivery, ensuring teams are equipped with the tools, information, and structure required to deliver projects on time, within scope, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards. Projects range from hardware market entry initiatives to large-scale internal technology and feature development programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management and Delivery
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure
- Implement project strategies and defined “ways of working” aligned to organisational standards
- Define project scope, milestones, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Track progress against delivery plans and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues
- Apply structured change management to prevent scope creep and ensure on-time, in-full delivery
- Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Identify, engage, and align internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate structured feedback sessions and maintain clear communication cadences
- Manage expectations and drive proactive course correction where required
- Ensure seamless project handover and closure upon completion
- Governance, Compliance and Record-Keeping
- Compile, manage, and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure documentation complies with Quality Management System (QMS) processes
- Support regulatory compliance aligned to ISO, CE, and FDA standards
- Contribute to organisational knowledge management and audit readiness
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in project management
- Degree or formal certification in Project Management (essential)
- Registration with a recognised project management institute (advantageous)
- Degree in Engineering, BCom Informatics, or Information Systems (advantageous)
Experience and Industry Exposure
- Proven experience managing complex projects across cross-functional teams
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience
- Highly desirable: exposure to hardware, medical devices, health tech, or software development environments
