Who Are We Looking For
An experienced Head of Digital Transformation with a proven track record of leading large-scale digital initiatives in complex business environments. This is an expat opportunity based in Zambia, ideal for someone looking to make a significant impact on a growing, ambitious organisation. You’ll bring both strategic vision and operational excellence, with the ability to align digital solutions with commercial goals.
What Will You Do
- Lead the end-to-end digital transformation strategy across all divisions (Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.)
- Identify opportunities for digital innovation and process optimisation
- Oversee the implementation of new systems, platforms, and tools
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align business goals with technology solutions
- Ensure the change management process is smooth, engaging, and business-aligned
- Introduce global best practices and ensure the business remains future-fit
- Drive data-driven decision-making across the enterprise
- Build and manage a high-performing digital transformation team
What Do You Need
- Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior digital transformation role
- Experience working in or with large, complex FMCG or manufacturing businesses
- Deep knowledge of digital technologies, data analytics, ERP systems, and innovation platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
- A strategic mindset with the ability to execute at a high level
- A relevant degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field; postgraduate qualifications will be advantageous
- Experience working in emerging markets or within Africa would be a plus
