Job Summary
What You'll Be Responsible For
Online Store & Platform Ownership
Own the day‑to‑day management of the Magento ecommerce platform
Monitor site performance, functionality, and uptime
Manage platform configurations and coordinate technical fixes with development partners
Support platform enhancements, upgrades, and feature rollouts
Product, Catalogue & Content Management
Create, upload, and maintain products using CSV uploads and manual updates
Manage product data including pricing, attributes, SKUs, imagery, and descriptions
Maintain a clean, well‑structured catalogue aligned to SEO best practices
Manage seasonal launches, collections, and end‑of‑life product removal
Merchandising, Pricing & Promotions
Merchandising of homepage, category pages, and key landing pages
Implement promotions including discount codes, campaigns, and markdowns
Manage banners, promotional content, and seasonal trading updates
Monitor promotional performance and price accuracy across the site
Stock, Orders & Fulfilment
Oversee online order processing from placement through dispatch
Coordinate fulfilment with warehouse and courier partners
Manage stock availability, backorders, and inventory visibility online
Handle refunds, returns, and customer order escalations when required
Customer Experience & Support
Ensure a seamless customer experience across the online channel
Respond to customer queries related to orders, delivery, returns, and availability
Liaise with courier partners to resolve delivery issues
Maintain accurate customer information within the ecommerce platform
Systems, Reporting & Data Management
Work closely with internal systems such as ERP (Microsoft NAV or similar)
Reconcile product, pricing, and stock data between systems
Pull reports and analyse ecommerce performance metrics
Provide insights and reporting on sales, conversion, traffic, AOV, and trends
UX, Conversion & Ecommerce Strategy
Identify and remove friction points in the customer journey
Improve navigation, search, product discovery, and checkout flow
Track and optimise conversion rates and cart abandonment
Support ongoing ecommerce strategy aligned to seasonal trading calendars
Team & Partner Collaboration
Manage and develop an Ecommerce Coordinator
Work closely with marketing teams on paid, email, and campaign execution
Coordinate external developers and solution providers
Manage timelines and priorities across ecommerce-related projects
What We're Looking For
3–5+ years’ experience managing an ecommerce platform, ideally in retail or fashion
Hands-on experience with Magento (or strong experience in Shopify/WooCommerce with Magento exposure)
Strong background in product catalogues, online merchandising, and promotions
Solid Excel and data management skills, including CSV uploads
Experience working with ERP systems and multichannel stock management
Strong understanding of ecommerce operations, fulfilment, and customer service
Working knowledge of ecommerce UX and digital marketing fundamentals
Comfortable working with agencies, developers, and internal stakeholders
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
