Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture or similar
Must be Certified in BASOS (FERTASA).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Agronomy related field is essential
Knowledge of the methodology for assembling, conducting, and harvesting field trials will be required
Must be proficient in MS Office
Strong presentation techniques and good communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, are important
Must have a valid drivers’ license.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Establishing relationships with customers and employees based on the values defined by the company.
Ensuring periodic visits to distributors and customers, aiming to offer solutions after analysis, aligned with the Regional Manager.
Prospecting new customers in the region and preparing an initial analysis to support business strategy.
Supporting the distributor management with the guidance of the Regional Manager.
Supporting the Regional Manager on the execution of the company strategy within the quality standards established by the company.
Ensuring quick deliveries within the necessary time aiming to increase sales and satisfy customers.
Executing trials, managing the development, applications and harvesting with excellence, and sending the results to the company and customers with the support of the departments involved in these processes.
Contributing to the flow of information between customers and the company, anticipating problems and actively participating in discussions of alternative solutions with the Regional Manager, management and departments of the company.
Submitting timely reports (activities, visits and flows) and prior weekly schedules of activities.
Collaborating with all departments of the company to meet deadlines, share results and good practices, have critical analysis and communication initiatives to increase teamwork.
Carrying out after sales service, guaranteeing the efficiency and performance of products in the field to increase sales.
Establishing and executing marketing activities to build relationships and build the company’s brand and position in the market.
Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
