Job Summary
Are you a creative and talented Photographer with an eye for detail and a passion for capturing meaningful moments? We are looking for a skilled Photographer to join an organization on a one-year fixed-term contract and play an important role in documenting events, stakeholder engagements and organizational activities through high-quality visual content.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and prepare for photography assignments and events.
• Capture high-quality photographs using professional camera, lighting and related equipment.
• Edit and retouch photographs using appropriate photo-editing software.
• Organise, manage and archive digital image files.
• Ensure photographic content accurately reflects events and activities.
• Maintain and care for photographic equipment.
Minimum Requirements
• Higher Certificate (NQF Level 4) in Photography, Visual Arts, Digital Media, Multimedia, Film Production or a related field.
• At least 12 months’ practical photography experience, demonstrated through a portfolio, internship, workplace learning programme, volunteer work or freelance assignments.
• A valid driver's licence will be an added advantage.
Skills & Knowledge
• Strong photography portfolio and practical photography skills.
• Proficiency in digital photography techniques and photo-editing software.
• Good knowledge of lighting, composition and camera settings.
• Ability to operate and work confidently with photographic equipment.
• Creativity and artistic ability.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving and adaptability skills.
• Ability to work professionally in a fast-paced event environment.
