CORE PURPOSE OF JOB |
|
To facilitate students’ acquisition of knowledge and skills in the discipline of Architectural Technology & Interior Design, by integrating theoretical and pragmatic knowledge that is locally and globally relevant and in alignment with the vision of the department and the university. To participate in and contribute to research and innovation, postgraduate student supervision, contribute to community, discipline and professional engagement as well as being involved in the core functions of the University. |

REQUIREMENTS |
|
Lecturer - In order to be considered for appointment, the candidate must have: 1- a relevant M+5 (Masters) qualification: - in Architectural Technology; - In Interior Design - In Architecture 2- At least 2 years of relevant work/practice experience. 3- The applicant must have A valid registration with: - SACAP (the South African Council for Architectural Profession), or - IID (The African Institute of the Interior Design Professions). 4- The applicant must submit their academic results and a A3 portfolio of his/her selected work undertaken in private practice (Technological Architectural experience will be given preferences). |

- Proof of SACAP/ IID registration – Date of registration. - Proof of work/practical experience with references – How long has the candidate been working. - Proof of qualifications -What is the highest qualification. - South African Identification document required. |
