Duties:
Deliver engaging online History lessons for GR 8 to 12 as well as IGCSE to A-level students
Support and mentor learners in their academic development
Prepare and assess student work in accordance with curriculum standards
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and administrative tasks
Maintain a positive and interactive virtual classroom environment
Requirements:
Fully qualified with a B.Ed or Undergraduate degree with relevant PGCE and SACE certification
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, in the FET Phase
Demonstrated ability to teach History at IGCSE and A level, with knowledge of Psychology advantageous
Strong IT skills for managing virtual classrooms and online assessments
Excellent presentation, communication, and administration skills
Well-spoken and articulate, capable of supporting diverse learners
Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful
Familiarity with the following:
Assessment and evaluation techniques
E-Learning tools and online teaching platforms
Social Sciences and curriculum development
