Job Summary

This is a strategic opportunity for a finance professional eager to influence the financial direction of a prominent education sector organization. With a broad scope of responsibility, this role offers the chance to lead vital financial functions, shape budgeting and forecasting processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic environment.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Maintain precise financial records ensuring regulatory compliance
Prepare management accounts, balance sheets, and conduct variance analysis
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities
Oversee the work of Finance Administrators, ensuring quality and accuracy
Manage VAT submissions, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
Support audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
Contribute to process enhancements and special projects aligned with strategic objectives

Requirements:

A BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification
Between 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills
Proven ability to manage multiple financial processes and teams

Familiarity with the following:

Education industry financial practices
Regulatory frameworks applicable to financial reporting
