STUDENT MARKETER / SCHOOLS MARKETER

Our client, a leading private higher education institution, is seeking a dynamic, target-driven and people-oriented Student Marketer to join their team in Pretoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the institution, generating student interest and driving enrolments through school marketing, fieldwork, networking, sales and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and promote the institution and its academic programmes to prospective students.

• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, institutions and corporate clients.

• Conduct school visits, career exhibitions, presentations and other marketing activities.

• Generate and follow up on prospective student leads through calls, databases, walk-ins and other channels.

• Provide prospective students with accurate information and guidance regarding available programmes.

• Assist students through the application and registration process.

• Achieve and exceed assigned student recruitment and enrolment targets.

• Promote the institution's brand through fieldwork and networking.

• Respond professionally to telephone, email and walk-in enquiries.

• Maintain accurate student information and records.

• Assist with student queries and ensure that enquiries are directed and followed through appropriately.

• Identify innovative opportunities to promote the institution and attract prospective students.

• Assist with corporate visits and other recruitment initiatives.

• Provide excellent customer service and act as a positive brand ambassador.

• Complete relevant administrative and reporting duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric

• Related Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business, Education or a related field.

• 2–3 years' experience in sales, marketing and/or general administration.

• Experience within an educational institution will be advantageous.

• Previous sales and student recruitment experience will be highly advantageous.

• Valid driver's licence.

• Strong prospecting and lead-generation ability.

• Proven ability to work towards and achieve sales/recruitment targets.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.

• Computer literate – MS Office.

• Excellent telephone and email etiquette.

• Ability to work independently and in a target-driven environment.

• Willingness to conduct fieldwork, school visits and attend career expos.
