Job Summary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Agricultural Diploma /Degree
- 5 years farm management experience
- 2-3 years’ experience with sheep and apricots
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mechanically orientated
- Computer Literate
- Valid driver’s license
- Establishment and maintenance of pastures for sheep
- Dipping and management of sheep (liaise with vet, tagging, sale, purchase)
- Irrigation, fertilise and management of pastures and apricot trees for optimum returns.
- Fertilise and management of apricot trees to produce optimum fruit
- Liaise with suppliers, service providers to order stock and other consumables
- Manage workers
