Duties and Responsibilities:
We are recruiting an Abattoir Supervisor to oversee daily slaughtering operations, ensure compliance with meat‑safety regulations, and manage staff performance. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, disciplined, and confident in managing high‑volume abattoir processes.- Managing staff schedules, performance, and training
- Monitoring equipment, workflow, and operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate production, traceability, and compliance records
- Enforcing biosecurity, PPE, and safety protocols
- Coordinating with inspectors, veterinarians, and management
- Managing stock control, waste reduction, and cold‑chain integrity
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills- High attention to detail and compliance
