Requirements:

Receive faulty equipment from customer/mines
Read and interpret schematic diagrams
Thoroughly test equipment to analyse faults (use multimeter and oscilloscope)
Repair equipment so that it conforms to standards as per schematic diagram
Make recommendations to improve products, processes and systems
2 years experience in fault finding
Reading and interpreting schematic diagrams; soldering and desoldering; working with electronic tools such as a multimeter, oscilloscope; mechanical assembly
