We are looking for an independent and objective professional with appropriate experience in ICT governance, technology risk, cyber security, digital transformation, data protection, legal or regulatory oversight, or a related field, to serve as an independent member of Medihelp's ICT Committee.
As an Independent Member of the ICT Committee, you will provide independent oversight, guidance, and constructive challenge on ICT strategy and governance, cyber security and resilience, digital transformation, data protection, technology risk, major ICT investments, and business continuity.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Independent Member serves as a member of the ICT Committee and reports functionally to the Board of Trustees through the Chairperson of the ICT Committee.
The Committee functions as a sub-committee of the Board of Trustees and remains accountable to the Board.
REMUNERATION
The remuneration will consist of a market-related fee for each meeting attended, with additional compensation for supplementary meetings or services required. There are approximately three meetings per year.
REQUIREMENTS
A recognised tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, information systems, engineering, law, risk management, business management, governance, or a related field.
Substantial senior-level experience in ICT governance, technology or cyber risk, cyber security, data protection and privacy, digital transformation, legal or regulatory governance, enterprise risk management, or business continuity.
Experience serving on, advising, or reporting to a board, committee, or comparable governance and oversight structure.
An understanding of the strategic, operational, legal, and governance risks associated with technology and digital transformation.
Experience in a regulated environment will be advantageous.
Additional qualifications or professional development in ICT governance, cyber security, cyber law, information security, data protection, risk management, artificial intelligence, or business continuity will be advantageous.
