B.Pharm / Dip.Pharm, and current registration with the South African Pharmacy Council
A minimum of 5 years’ management experience

Review and ensure effective closeout of regional quality ISO9001:2015 audits, complete verification audits and follow up to ensure continuous improvement
Ensure compliance to the regional pharmacy workplace skills plan and CPD requirements
Quality management
Active participation in regional quality meetings
Implement customer satisfaction and quality initiatives to enhance service levels and patient outcomes
Ensure effective implementation of work procedures, Q-learnings and Q-directives to drive best practice in pharmacy
Together with the regional clinical pharmacist implement medication safety interventions
People engagement
Demonstrate visible leadership aligned to the company values, operating model and strategy
Build effective working relationships with pharmacy managers, hospital managers, regional functional resources and other key stakeholders
Participate in the recruitment and induction of new pharmacy managers and senior pharmacists
Together with hospital managers agree a training and development plan for pharmacy managers as appropriate
Review of pharmacy resourcing requests within the region
Participate in biannual performance reviews and support performance management as required

Job Purpose

Key Accountabilities
