General Practitioner Opportunity | Mamelodi East, Pretoria
Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established solo GP practice in Mamelodi East, Pretoria (Gauteng) for a qualified General Practitioner to join the practice on a part-time, flexible basis, with an ideal start date of 1 March 2026.
This opportunity is ideal for a GP who values quality patient care, community engagement, and a professional, well-run practice environment.
Practice Overview
- Long-standing, reputable solo GP practice serving the local community since 2009
- Busy practice with a loyal and supportive patient base
- Safe, secure, and professional working environment
- Strong focus on thorough consultations and ethical medical practice
- Normal dispensing GP
- Fully computerised records using MED-EDI
- Flexible scheduling discussed directly with the practitioner
Role Expectations
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centred consultations
- Prioritise quality of care over volume or financial gain
- Provide compassionate and attentive medical services aligned with community healthcare needs
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards
Minimum Requirements
- MBChB qualification
- Dispensing Licence - OR willingness to obtain a dispensing licence within six (6) months of employment
- Experience in general practice and primary patient care
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
Advantageous (Not Essential):
- Interest in minor surgical procedures
- Basic obstetric sonar (dates, EDD, gender only – no full scans)
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours (mainly afternoons, not later than 16h00–17h00)
- Alternative Fridays: 09h00 – 15h00
- Alternative Saturdays: 09h00 – 12h00
Remuneration
- Competitive and flexible remuneration package
