Our client in the private healthcare sector in Cape Town is looking for a committed Enrolled Nurse to join their theatre team and play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. ABOUT THE ROLE: In this role, you will deliver safe, quality nursing care within your Scope of Practice, collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team, identify, prevent and report clinical risks, create a caring and supportive environment for patients, maintain accurate records of nursing interventions, contribute to staff development, and ensure that utilised stock and equipment are accurately recorded and charged. REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must hold an Enrolled Nurse Certificate. Relevant CPD courses in a specialised ward or clinical area will be advantageous. No previous experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for newly qualified Enrolled Nurses. However, at least one year of post-qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Basic Life Support, infection prevention and control, pharmacology, patient assessment, nursing procedures, care planning, risk identification, relevant nursing legislation, clinical documentation and Microsoft Office.
