Job Summary
⭐ What you bring:
- National Senior Certificate / Matric or equivalent qualification preferred
- Experience in a clinic environment
- Sound knowledge of recruiting area
- HIV Counselling Certificate Required
- Excellent communication (preferably IsiXhosa) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to work additional hours when required to support participant safety and the integrity of research studies
Help turn clinical research into meaningful outcomes by supporting participants and the teams delivering important TB and HIV studies.
? What you’ll own:
- Assist with pre-screening and recruitment of potential clinical trial participants.
- Assist with the informed consent process.
- Provide pre- and post-test HIV counselling and participant education.
- Support participants with TB/HIV treatment and medication adherence.
- Assist with participant follow-ups, visit reminders, and locating participants who miss appointments.
- Conduct telephone follow-ups and remote visits as required.
- Keep participant contact details and follow-up records up to date.
- Assist with filing and maintaining accurate research records in line with GCP principles.
- Assist with obtaining relevant clinic information and reviewing TB sputum results via NHLS as required.
- Support communication between participants, clinic staff, and the research team.
- Assist with outreach activities, training, meetings, and other research-related duties as required.

? Role Information:
- Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
- Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week
- Based in Mowbray, Cape Town
