They are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Inspection Supervisor. Post Matric Qualification in Management, Operations or Quality.
3 - 5 years supervisory experience, gained in a manufacturing environment.
Sound planning and organising skills.
Proven people management skills, including conflict resolution & coaching skills.
Problem solving abilities.
Good computer and administrative skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Previous supervisory experience gained in an inspection process will be a distinct advantage.
Supervising the activities of the Inspection Team Leaders.
Ensure compliance with EMS, QMS and Health and Safety regulations.
Generate weekly and monthly management reports for quality, yield, productivity, delivery and special reports as required by management.
Prepare weekly production schedules after consultation with the required sections.
Manage IP buffer to within objective target levels.
Manage staff and complete kronos approvals.
Assist IP Manager with budget preparation.
Monitor monthly expenditure for department.
Supervise workplace improvement activities.
Develop operation instruction sheets and DPC’s in conjunction with team members.
Identify training needs and plan the training required.
Ensure MSA studies are completed as required.
Salary: R42,000 cost to company, dependent on experience.
