Job Summary
My client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who wants more than just another developer job.
This role is for an engineer who wants to see their work used, felt, and valued. You’ll be building and evolving software that operates at scale and solves real problems in challenging, real‑world environments. The kind of work where good engineering decisions genuinely change outcomes.
You won’t be boxed into a single layer of the stack or hidden behind endless process. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work across backend services, front‑end applications, cloud infrastructure, and integrations. Engineers here are trusted to own solutions end‑to‑end, from technical design through to production and continuous improvement.
You’ll collaborate closely with product, commercial, and operational teams, giving you direct insight into how your code is used and why it matters. There’s a strong culture of ownership, pragmatism, and technical curiosity, engineers are encouraged to question, improve, and shape the systems they work on.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 6+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer or Senior Developer
Strong experience with JavaScript and Python
Backend development experience (e.g. FastAPI or similar frameworks)
Exposure to modern front‑end frameworks (Vue.js is a strong advantage)
Experience building systems with complex integrations
Solid understanding of cloud environments (AWS) and distributed systems
Strong engineering fundamentals, testing practices, and problem‑solving ability
Comfortable taking ownership and working cross‑functionally
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
