Our client is a major player in the banking and financial services sector, offering cutting-edge solutions and a collaborative work culture. This contract role gives you exposure to high-impact projects in the credit space, working with advanced data platforms and methodologies. - Duration: 6 months
- Rate: R700 – R800 per hour
- Start Date: January 2026
- Interview Process: Virtual (end of week)
Key Responsibilities
- Drive data analytics and engineering initiatives within credit-related projects.
- Resolve production issues and support business analysis requirements.
- Implement ETL processes and maintain data integrity across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Relevant qualification in Data Engineering or Information Systems.
- Experience:
- 7+ years in data engineering and analytics within financial services.
- Strong exposure to credit space and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Skills:
- ETL, MSSQL Reporting, Data Warehousing, Oracle, SAP Business Objects.
- Power BI and advanced data visualization tools.
- Other: Proven experience in project management within complex financial environments.
