This opportunity offers you the chance to take full ownership of Occupational Safety Solutions (OSS) products, specifically within gas detection instrumentation, and bring life-saving technology to market.As a Product Manager, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in shaping product vision, driving development, and ensuring successful product launches. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry stakeholders while influencing product direction in a highly specialised and impactful environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product strategy and vision aligned with business objectives and market needs
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from concept, R&D, testing, and development through to market launch
- Collaborate with engineering, production, QA, and stakeholders to drive OSS system development
- Manage project plans, resources, timelines, and documentation to ensure delivery within budget and scope
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and oversee lab testing and site trials
- Engage stakeholders, including customers and partners, to gather insights and ensure alignment
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including positioning and product messaging
- Monitor product performance post-launch and drive continuous improvements
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, business, or related field
- Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in product management (preferably in mining or safety technologies)
- At least 10 years’ experience in the mining industry
- Proven track record in managing complex projects from concept to delivery
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of gas detection instrumentation, environmental monitoring systems, or related safety technologies
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Strategic thinking with innovative problem-solving capabilities
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach
- Risk assessment and mitigation expertise
- Ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Additional:
- Ability to produce proof of successful project delivery
- High attention to detail in documentation and product development processes
