Our client is a small, well established, family run business specialising in printing and labelling.

The ideal candidate will be young, dynamic and between 2 and 5 years of experienced in printing/ labelling and related industries. We are seeking candidates with a proven sales record to hunt new business. A dedicated, committed, professional and hungry for new business development leading to successfully attainment of their set sales targets is needed. Fluency in English and Afrikaans with a third African language an advantage.

Purpose of the role:

To sell the company's range of print products to new customers, primarily in the small and medium business market. The incumbent will be responding for expanding sales across the Gauteng province and achieving set sales targets (starting at R130 000 p/m).

Starting salary of up to R15 500 CTC dependent upon relevant experience with great opportunity to increase one's basic and a lucrative commission structure.

Salary: Basic salary of R11 000 + Travel allowance of R2000 + Petrol allowance of R2000 + Cell phone allowance of R500 + company cell phone + company laptop.

Hours:

Mondays to Fridays, 07:30 to 16:30

Responsibilities & Duties include but are not limited to:

• New Business Development i.e. generate leads and secure sales
• Achieve and exceed set sales targets
• Determine product/service value delivered throughout customer operations and effectively communicate value to customers to promote new applications and sales
• Build and maintain a relevant client database
• Upselling your own client base
• Drive brand loyalty
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities

Candidate requirements:

Education

• National Senior Certificate
• Sales and or Marketing beneficial

Work experience, skills & additional criteria:

• Must have sales experience in Printing and Labelling solutions
• Must have 3 - 5 years sales experience in the same or similar field such a barcodes
• Must have a proven sales track record
• Must have a Valid driver's license
• Must be comfortable with MS Office suite
• Experience in Lithography/Lithographic and offset printing
• Experience in QuickEasy will be advantageous
• Knowledge of printing industry will be beneficial (but training will be provided on the client's range of products and services)
• Excellent communication skills
• Accomplished New Business Developer and good closing skills
• Exceptional relationship builder
