Management Accountant (Manufacturing / Job Costing)
Location: Vanderbijlpark

A hands-on opportunity for a Management Accountant / Costing Specialist to build and implement costing and reporting systems within a small engineering/manufacturing environment.
Contract Details:
- 3-month full-time contract
- Transition into permanent part-time role (20 hours per week, office-based)
- Start: ASAP
- Salary: R15,000 – R20,000 (initial) | R10,000 – R15,000 (permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement job costing systems and procedures
- Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting structures
- Establish labour and machine (CNC) billing rates
- Drive adoption and governance of job costing systems (JobSys or similar), Pastel / Sage Evolution V19
- Produce monthly management accounts and performance reports
- Support pricing, margin analysis, and cost control
- Ensure data accuracy, reporting automation, and operational insights
Requirements:
- Qualification in Cost/Management Accounting or Industrial Engineering
- 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing or engineering environments
- Strong experience in job costing, budgeting, and reporting
- Advanced Excel skills (automation experience advantageous)
- Experience with job costing systems (e.g., JobSys) preferred
