Purpose of the Role
To aggressively drive revenue growth by hunting new business, expanding the client base, and ensuring long-term client relationships that secure the company remains sustainable and market-leading.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales by sourcing new clients, liaison with existing customers, generate new business to ensure company longevity:
- Lead Generation – Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking and outreach to potential clients
- Client Relationship Management – Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction
- Sales Strategy Development – Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve individual and team targets, focussing on acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.
- Market research – Analyse industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Proposal and Contract Negotiation – Prepare business proposals and negotiate contracts with clients to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Collaboration – Work closely with internal sales teams, including marketing and product development teams, to align strategies and enhance service offerings

Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Personal Characteristics / Other Requirements
- Grade 12 or relevant NQF4 equivalent.
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, Marketing and related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales or related field is essential, with a track record of achieving sales targets
