Maintenance Foreman (Sugar), Richards Bay, RNeg + Ben
- N4 + Trade Tested Fitter
- N6 / National Diploma in mechanical engineering will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years heavy industrial supervisory /foreman experience in sugar.
- High levels of competence on leadership mechanical engineering.
- Sound experience in maintenance management, planning and budgeting.
- In depth knowledge & experience in reliability, preventive & predictive maintenance.
- Experience and knowledge of OHS, ISO 14001 and ISO 22000.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft & maintenance systems.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Responsible for prioritizing, organizing, and leading the maintenance team to achieve reliable equipment maintenance.
- Responsible for managing the mechanical function of the section in compliance with internal procedures, standards, and engineering practice.
- Responsible for providing technical input for setting up and optimization of equipment.
- Responsible for setting and maintaining high workmanship standards and holding the team accountable to achieving the set standards.
- Responsible for optimization of equipment reliability and availability.
- Responsible for ensuring that required quality and equipment standards are met in the design and installation of projects.
- Responsible for rapidly returning equipment back into service.
- Responsible for compiling and controlling sugar backend maintenance budget.
- Responsible for promoting and maintaining healthy and safe work environment in accordance with OHS Act and ISO 14001 and ISO 22000.
