Job Summary
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Head of Manufacturing & Production to lead manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency and ensure quality, safety and delivery targets are achieved within an established industrial manufacturing environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead manufacturing operations across fabrication, machining, assembly and finishing.
Manage production planning, scheduling and capacity to meet customer deadlines.
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement, productivity, quality and waste reduction initiatives.
Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Procurement and Logistics to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure materials, machinery, drawings and labour are available for production.
Lead, develop and manage factory managers, supervisors, artisans and production teams.
Maintain operational procedures, policies, quality standards and health and safety compliance.
Resolve production challenges and implement practical, commercially sound solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum N5 tertiary qualification.
Proven experience in a senior production, manufacturing or factory management role.
Strong experience in manufacturing and metal fabrication environments.
Demonstrated expertise in production planning, scheduling and capacity management.
Experience managing complex production environments with multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Strong technical knowledge, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making abilities.
